About this activity
The Algarve's largest water park, in Quarteira: over twenty slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and the water roller coaster that made its name — all on one full-day ticket.
Aquashow is the Algarve's water park with the most attractions, in Quarteira, minutes from Vilamoura. More than twenty slides and pools sit in a compound you can cross on foot in minutes — which means less walking and more time in the water.
The two rides that made its name are water roller coasters: the Flash Coaster and the Watercoaster, which climb instead of only dropping. Around them are the classics — Free Fall for a straight plunge, the Twin Space Shuttle to race down in pairs, the Wild Snake and the Tubes. For a calmer day there's the wave pool, the lazy river and the tropical pool with its jacuzzi.
Families with small children have the Aquakids and Aqualand areas, with slides built to their scale, plus a mini train and the Thunder Cruise boat. Every attraction has its minimum height posted at the entrance, from none at all up to 1.40 m, so it's worth checking the signs before joining a queue.
The ticket covers everything for the full day, with sunbeds, floats and parking included — three things other parks charge for separately.

More information
The park is at Volta do Parque n.º 1 in Quarteira, reached from the A22, with free parking. It opens daily through the warm season, 10:00 to 18:00, and the ticket is valid for the whole day. Your visit date must be set on the booking. Babies under 1.00 m tall go free (measured on arrival); from 1.00 m to age 10 the junior ticket applies, from 11 to 64 the standard one, and from 65 it is reduced again. Lockers are rented at the park (€5 plus a €5 refundable deposit). There are restaurants and snack bars inside, a first-aid post and baby-changing facilities. Glass bottles and pets are not allowed, guide dogs excepted. The opening and closing dates are whatever the booking calendar shows. For rescheduling, the park counts May, June and September as low season, and July and August as high season.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the ticket cover everything inside the park?
It does: every slide and pool in the park you booked is in the ticket. And do note: they are two separate parks in the same complex — the outdoor one opens May to September, the indoor one October to April, each with its own ticket, and one does not get you into the other. Outside the ticket are meals, towels and lockers, which are rented at the park.
Are there lockers?
Yes. You rent them at the park for around €5, plus a €5 deposit you get back when you hand the key in. They are not included in your ticket.
Can I bring my own food?
In the outdoor water park you can, as long as you bring no glass. Inside Aquashow Indoor it is not allowed, except in special cases, which you sort out at the entrance.
What do I need to bring?
Swimwear, a towel and flip-flops — those are the things the park does not provide.
Are there changing rooms and showers?
Yes. Aquashow Indoor also has a spa area.
Until what time can I enter the park?
As a rule, up to 2 hours before closing. We recommend arriving early to make the most of the day.
Can I bring my pet?
No, except for guide dogs with proper documentation.
