This site carries no advertising and does not track you. It uses five cookies of its own, all of them to remember choices you made, and it contacts no external service until you press a button. We do not count visits: this site has no analytics tool at all. This page explains exactly what and why.
The cookies this site uses

What your browser stores besides cookies
As you browse, the site stores inside your own browser (in "session storage") things like how far down a list you had scrolled, which blocks you had open and which option you were looking at. This is what lets the "back" button return you where you were instead of throwing you to the top of the page.
There are five, and they are called am_list_scroll, am_list_back, am_last_list, am_list_view and am_ticket_option. We give you the names for a simple reason: if we show you the names of the cookies, hiding these would be odd.
Like the cookies above, this information never leaves your device, never reaches us, and disappears when you close the tab.
Content from other companies — only after you click
Some parts of the site are built by third parties. None of them loads when you open the page: a button sits in its place, and only when you press it does your browser contact the other company. Until you press it, that company does not know you exist.
- Pluralo and FareHarbor — the systems where the booking is made. They appear when you press "Book".
- Google Maps — the map of the departure point. It appears when you press the map button.
- Stripe — payment, for the experiences we sell directly. It exists only on the payment page, and it is indispensable in order to pay.
- YouTube — the video on some experiences. We use the youtube-nocookie.com address, which stores nothing on your device unless you press play.
We do not count visits on this site
We have no analytics tool. No program records where you went, how long you stayed or what you pressed. There is no cookie for it, no script for it, and no information about your browsing leaves your browser.
We know how many people look for us by another route, and the difference matters: Google tells us how many people saw our site in its results and how many clicked. Those are Google’s numbers about Google’s searches — not somebody watching you in here.
There was measurement on this site between August and September 2026, and it had been chosen precisely because it stored nothing on your device. A more recent reading of the European rules showed that even so it would need your permission. We could have asked for it with a notice on screen; we preferred to switch the measurement off. Not interrupting you is worth more to us than knowing how many you are.
Why you are not shown a cookie banner
Portuguese law (article 5 of Law 41/2004) requires your consent to store or read information on your device, but allows one exception: no permission is needed for what is strictly necessary to a service you asked for.
The five cookies above fall under that exception — each exists to remember a choice of yours, and none is used to track or identify you. And there is nothing else to ask you about: as we do not count visits, nothing on this site depends on your permission.
That left the other half: third-party content. Rather than ask your permission for it, we took it out of the way — it now loads only when you ask for it. We would rather have a site that does not need to ask than a site that asks and then does as it pleases.
If we ever add advertising, or any measurement that follows you across sites, this changes: a consent request will appear before anything of the sort, and this page will be updated first.
How to delete or block these cookies
Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies in its privacy settings. If you block them the site still works — it simply stops remembering the currency you chose and where you are staying, and the welcome screen comes back.
