About this activity
Aquashow Indoor is the Iberian Peninsula's first covered water park, and it solves the problem every other park in the Algarve has: winter. The water is heated and the site is enclosed, so a rainy day stops being a lost day — and it opens exactly when the outdoor park closes.
Inside there are three named slides — the Tornado, the Black Hole and the Hidrorace — along with Adventure Island and obstacle circuits over the water. The pools split between the main one, the adventure pool with its climbing wall, and the children's pool with slides and water cannons for younger visitors.
The ticket isn't per day, it's per **length of stay**: you pick 1, 2 or 3 hours, counted from the moment you go in. For an afternoon with small children an hour usually does it; for a group that wants to ride everything twice, three hours is the obvious choice.

More information
It sits in the same Aquashow complex in Quarteira and runs through the cold season, 10:00 to 18:00 — the outdoor park opens in the season when this one closes, so one of the two is always running. The ticket is by length of stay (1, 2 or 3 hours), counted from entry, and is validated on the way in and on the way out: overstaying costs €10 for every half hour started. Attractions, pools and slides close 15 minutes before the park does. Babies up to age 2 go free; ages 3 to 5 pay the reduced ticket, ages 6 to 12 the child ticket, 13 to 64 the standard one and 65+ the senior. Pregnant guests (with a certificate) and people with a disability of 33% or more (with proof) pay the reduced ticket. The opening and closing dates are whatever the booking calendar shows.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the ticket cover everything inside the park?
It does: every slide and pool in the park you booked is in the ticket. And do note: they are two separate parks in the same complex — the outdoor one opens May to September, the indoor one October to April, each with its own ticket, and one does not get you into the other. Outside the ticket are meals, towels and lockers, which are rented at the park.
Are there lockers?
Yes. You rent them at the park for around €5, plus a €5 deposit you get back when you hand the key in. They are not included in your ticket.
Can I bring my own food?
In the outdoor water park you can, as long as you bring no glass. Inside Aquashow Indoor it is not allowed, except in special cases, which you sort out at the entrance.
What do I need to bring?
Swimwear, a towel and flip-flops — those are the things the park does not provide.
Are there changing rooms and showers?
Yes. Aquashow Indoor also has a spa area.
Until what time can I enter the park?
As a rule, up to 2 hours before closing. We recommend arriving early to make the most of the day.
Can I bring my pet?
No, except for guide dogs with proper documentation.
