About this activity

The Algarve water park with the most slides, in Estombar: over twenty attractions down a hillside, from the Kamikaze to the Disco River, on a full-day ticket.

Slide & Splash is the Algarve park with the most slides — over twenty of them, built down a hillside in Estombar, between Lagoa and Portimão. The terrain does half the work: you climb once and come down a dozen different ways.

For speed there's the Kamikaze, the Big Fall and the Black Hole, with the big slide tower gathering the fastest drops. On the other side are the float-down rides — the River Ride, the Disco River and Tropical Paradise — plus a jacuzzi for the middle of the afternoon. Families with small children get their own area, with slides at their scale and the Foam Slides, to race down side by side.

The ticket covers the full day and every attraction. Sunbeds, lockers and cabanas for groups of 4, 6 or 10 are hired separately — the cabanas are worth it for larger families who want a shaded base for the day.

Every slide has its minimum height posted at the entrance, so it pays to walk the park with the children first and see where they get in.

What's included
  • Full-day entry to the park
  • Access to every water attraction, from the fastest slides to the children's areas
  • Nursing team on site and a defibrillator at the entrance

More information

The park is on the E.N. 125 at Vale de Deus, Estombar (Lagoa council), minutes from Portimão and Carvoeiro. It opens from 1 April to 31 October, with hours that shift through the season: 10:00 to 17:00 in April and May, until 18:00 from July to early September. At the start and end of the season there are Sundays when the park stays shut — worth checking the date before you go. Babies under 1.00 m tall go free; from 1.00 m to age 10 the junior ticket applies, from 11 to 64 the standard one, and from 65 it is reduced again — the senior ticket costs the same as the child one. There are separate prices for pregnant visitors and visitors with a disability, and entry is free above 80% disability. Inside there are places to eat, sunbed and locker hire, and cabanas for groups of 4, 6 or 10.
