Sao Rafael Beach

Alte

Castle of Paderne
Paderne Castle is a military monument in the parish of Paderne, belonging to the Municipality of Albufeira, in the Algarve region, in Portugal.
It was built in the 12th century, during the Moorish occupation of the Algarve, and is considered one of the most important examples of Islamic military architecture in the Iberian Peninsula.
The castle has a quadrangular plan, measuring approximately 100 meters on each side, and is surrounded by a wall with watchtowers. Inside the castle, the ruins of a cistern, a aljib and a hermitage dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption stand out.
Castelo de Paderne was classified as a Property of Public Interest in 1971 and is one of the main tourist attractions in the region.
Medieval Bridge of Paderne
The Medieval Bridge of Paderne, also known as Ponte do Castelo, is a historical monument in the municipality of Albufeira, in the Algarve region, in Portugal.
It was built in the Middle Ages, probably in the 13th century, and was used to cross the river of Quarteira. The bridge is around 40 meters long and 7 meters wide, and is made up of three round arches.

Queda do Vigário
Queda do Vigário is a waterfall located in the parish of Alte, in the municipality of Loulé, in the Algarve.
The waterfall is formed by Ribeira de Alte, which originates in Serra do Caldeirão and flows into the sea at Praia da Falésia. The water in the waterfall is crystal clear and the place is surrounded by exuberant vegetation.
